Video: Southside Blues Festival Kicks off in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus residents flocked to the Southside Townsend Park for a free evening of music.

After the heat of the sun died down, residents gathered for the seventh annual Blues Festival to celebrate the fourth of July.

Attendees were treated to the sounds of local acts including Big Tone, Eddie Love and Armando Adams.

Food vendors also lined the sidewalk for festival participants.

There was entertainment for the children too, with inflatables and face painting.
