STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) –  The City of Starkville is launching its revamped website that offers more inter-activity between residents and the city.

The site will be completely overhauled to include forums for residents to report concerns, alerts about city events and weather watches and warnings.

It will include an e-payment portal which will allow people to pay for tickets or citations online.

Postings for city job openings will also be available on the site.

“Some of the modules we think will be particularly popular are the Citizen Request Tracker where the citizen can go online, create an account on the website and they can create a request or submit a concern from everything from potholes to a street light out to stop light out,” says Joel Clements, IT Manager.

The site will officially launch Friday (12/14) at 5 P.M.

The website address will remain cityofstarkville.org.
