Video: Truck Driver Nowhere to be Found After Accident

LOWNDES, Miss. (WCBI) — A Mississippi truck driver takes a wild ride — and then is nowhere to be found.

The flatbed truck was eastbound on Steens-Vernon Road sometime this morning when the driver lost control.

It left one side of the road, crossed over and rolled for about 100 yards before stopping.

A Lowndes County road crew drove up on the accident just before 10 a.m., but the driver was gone.

Authorities had the truck towed while they searched for the owner.
