PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (WCBI) – Philadelphia police made of their largest weapons bust to date during a traffic stop early Sunday morning.
Police confiscated a dozen hand guns and more than 1,200 rounds of ammunition during the traffic stop.
They also confiscated three containers of explosives that can be used to detonate dynamite.
Narcotics and bullet proof vests were also taken during the stop.
Police say the suspect did not have a concealed carry permit but had concealed guns strategically throughout the car.
The suspect has not officially been charged but authorities expect one later this week. Others could also face charges in this case.
