WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — Some West Point High teachers are helping students plan for their future.

The S.T.E.P.S. transition fair was held in the cafeteria at West Point High.

Students from ages 14 to 21 along with their parents had a chance to meet one-on-one with surrounding colleges to discuss secondary education.

This program was designed to help students who are unsure of life after high school.

Representatives from Mississippi State’s Access and Student Support along with East Mississippi Community College were among the vendors at the event.

Free refreshments were provided for parents and students.
