Video: Wild Game on the Menu in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) Some folks in the Golden Triangle took a walk on the wild side at dinner hour Thursday.

Chefs from across the state added their own flair to wild game. Deer, duck and more were all on the menu.

The Lowndes County Wildlife Tasting Buffet was held this evening at the newly renovated Trotter Convention Center.

The Chefs were competing for prizes and bragging rights.

The annual event was hosted by the MSU Extension service as well as other state and local departments and organizations that focus on wildlife preservation and education.
