Video: Youth Rally Focuses on Bullying and Sexting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Families came out to United Christian Baptist Church to learn more about bullying and sexting. The youth rally and school supply drive encourages kids to stand up for themselves and talk about their problems. The drive provided kids with back to school supplies for the new school year. Speakers from “C.A.V.E” Ministries and the Lowndes County Sheriff’s department were there to speak to the youngsters.

“It’s important for the children, it’s also very important for the parents to come out and find out what it is that sexting and bullying is because this something that our children are faced with everyday in school,” says Leona Stokes of United Christian B.C.

Organizers say they want they want youth to have more positive experiences. at school.
