STARKVILLE, Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) Free and open to all through March 21, the showing in the second-floor Colvard Student Union Art Gallery is a collaboration between the university’s student activities office and campus Music Maker Productions.

Also free to all, a reception for the show will held 4-6 p.m. March 6 at the gallery.

Treptow said the solicitation of individual contributions is a way for persons of all ages to express their love for music.

“Music is often thought of as an auditory art, but it can also be a very visual art form,” she said. “The exhibit aims to express this visual art through the display of classic and modern vinyl records and sleeves.”

Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
