STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Some courageous men at MSU stepped out of their comfort zones on Monday and walked in women’s shoes for a worthy cause.
Hundreds of men put on high heeled shoes and took a walk around the junction at MSU. The walk is a part of an international campaign to raise awareness about rape prevention, sexual assault and other forms of gender violence.
This is an annual event at Mississippi State, and this year, the walk was led by Starkville Mayor Parker Wiseman.
The event is sponosored by MSU’s health education and wellness department.
