It’s hard to believe that Halloween is next week when we’re still talking about highs in the low 80s on a consistent basis. No spooky weather is expected in the near term but cooler weather will return for the weekend.
Skies will be mostly clear tonight and overnight lows will be a few degrees either side of 50. Mostly sunny conditions are on tap for Tuesday and afternoon temperatures will once again be in the low 80s. That general forecast should hold true for Wednesday and Thursday as well.
Friday will be warm but there could be a few afternoon showers and storms around the region as a cold front gets closer and closer to our area. Right now the chance of rain is fairly low at 20%. The front should push all the way through on Saturday but rain chances will remain in the forecast. Cooler 60s can be expected behind the front and overnight lows may dip back into the 30s by Sunday morning. Now that’s more like fall…
