Warm Friday, Cooler Weekend

We are going to close out the work week on a sunny and warm note.  Afternoon highs will be well into the low and mid 80s once again.  Temperatures will cool into the 70s and 60s during Friday night football but skies will remain mostly clear.

A strong cold front will split our area in two on Saturday as it moves from north to south.  60s and 50s will be more common across the northern half of the area while 70s and 80s will hold tough in the south.  A band of clouds and showers will accompany the front.  Be sure to wear some warm weather gear to the Texas A&M/Ole Miss game Saturday evening because it looks like you are going to need it.

Sunday promises to be a chilly day across all of north Mississippi and west Alabama.  We’ll start out in the 40s and highs will only be in the 60s.  Hopefully we’ll see brighter skies develop during the course of the day.  Patchy frost may become a concern in some spots Sunday night if skies clear out.
