Tonight: Tonight we can expect a mix of starry skies and clouds. Lows will drop near the 70 degree mark allowing for a slightly less humid evening.
Monday: Rain chances will return tomorrow afternoon with most of the showers in the north part of the state. High temperatures will be in the low 90s again, but heat indexes will be in the mid to upper 90s. Overnight lows will rise, but stay in the low 70s.
Tuesday: Scattered showers and storms could pop up all day as a weak warm front retreats northward through the area. Plan for cloudy skies and high temperatures in the low 90s. Humidity is back on the rise and will make being outside very uncomfortable. Low temperatures will drop to the mid 70s.
Wednesday-Friday: The chance of rain is reduced to about 20% for afternoon pop up showers, and the mostly dry skies lead to temperatures in the mid 90s. Overnight low temperatures will creep up towards the mid 70s.
Weekend: The sweltering August heat continues, and high temperatures remain in the 90s. Pop up showers and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoons, and overnight low temperatures will drop to the low 70s.
