Since this is our early post, I’ll once again encourage you to take a peak at the Geminid Meteor Shower which is happening as we speak. I saw over 4 meteors on my drive in to work this morning, so I encourage you to look out the window (while it’s still dark.) Maybe you’ll get as lucky as me! Lows overnight have fallen below freezing under clear skies.
Our Friday will start out cloud free across the viewing area. But as the day progresses, clouds will increase through the afternoon hours and highs will climb into the lower 60s. Winds will be out of the southeast at 5 mph.
Tonight look for mostly cloudy skies with lows only falling into the lower 40s.
Our next rain chance will hold off until Saturday when a trailing cold front approaches the region. As of now, that chance is a little lower than what we were thinking yesterday. Sunday now features a higher chance for rain.
Highs will be back to the middle 60s for the weekend.
