A weak cold front will cross the area Wednesday morning. It will push a band of clouds our way and it may also spark a few sprinkles or light showers; however, not a lot of moisture is expected with this system. High temperatures should climb back into the low to mid 70s but some upper 60s may be the best we can do in some spots.
Thursday will be partly cloudy and comfortable. Afternoon temperatures will likely be in the low to mid 70s.
While a stray shower or storm is possible near the Tennessee border on Friday, it looks like most of our area will enjoy a partly cloudy and mild day. Highs will be near 80. High school football continues to look good.
The weather also looks great for any outdoor activity on Saturday… especially college football! Skies will be partly cloudy and highs will be in the mid 80s.
