The WCBI Weather Team will be at Walgreens in New Albany between 4 and 7 p.m. this evening programming weather radios. Feel free to stop on by if you will be in the neighborhood!
Clouds will thicken this evening and keep temperatures mild at around 50 degrees.
An upper level system will spread isolated showers across the region overnight – early Thursday morning. At this time the greatest chance of rain will be across central and southern locations in the viewing area. Latest model trends hint that the rain chance should decrease by the late afternoon hours. It’s still wise to keep your umbrella handy as you go about your plans Thursday.
Additional rain showers will linger during the first half of Friday as a slow moving front eases on by. Upper 50s to low 60s are good bets for high temperatures both Thursday and Friday.
Saturday will be dry but more active weather is anticipated Sunday and early next week. Heavy rain and perhaps even some strong storms may be headed back our way. We’ll keep you updated as the weekend draws near.
