Scattered showers will be in our area for the Wednesday morning commute, and that will continue through the afternoon. It does not look like everyone will get rain today. Though there will be thunder with some of the areas of rain, we are not anticipating anything strong at this point. Highs will be in the upper 70s to near 80 today. Part of that will depend on who gets the rain and who doesn’t.
Rain will try to come to an end this evening, but we may see a few spotty showers overnight as we drop down to the upper 50s.
Areas of rain should not be as numerous Thursday, but there will be at least a few showers and rouge storms in the region.
It’s looking like Friday morning will not begin wet. Rain chances will amp up Friday afternoon, evening, and overnight into Saturday morning. There may be some periods of heavy rain. Data we have are being more consistent with the timing of this weather system, but it’s still not perfectly set in stone.
Rain is currently forecast to hang around early Saturday morning, and we should get a chance to dry out somewhat for the afternoon.
