A series of high pressure centers will take a park over our area for the next week or so. This means a prolonged period of sunshine along with low humidity levels can be expected. High temperatures during the next 7 days will range from the upper 80s to low 90s while overnight lows should be mainly in the low to mid 60s. This is par for for the course for September standards.
Today: Mostly Sunny with afternoon highs in the low 90s and overnight lows in the low 60s.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with afternoon highs in the low 90s and falling to the lower to mid 60s.
Rest of the Work Week: Much of the same can be expected. Afternoon highs will be in the low 90s with overnight lows in the mid 60s.
Many locations around our region are becoming quite dry up due to a lack of recent rainfall. We don’t expect any rain in the WCBI viewing area until next Tuesday at the earliest and even that may be a stretch. Keep watering your lawns if you want things to stay green because Mother Nature sure isn’t in a giving mood right now.
