Our Saturday will feature plenty of sunshine, light wind, and seasonably warm temperatures. Afternoon highs should peak in the mid 80s. It will be a great day for any outdoor activity but just be sure to weather plenty of sunscreen. The sun is quite potent right now and it won’t take long to burn.
Southerly winds will set up again on Sunday and they will allow moisture to creep back north from the Gulf. The additional humidity will likely give rise to scattered afternoon and evening storms once again. Highs will be in the upper 80s.
More storms are possible on Monday but the chance of rain will lessen for the middle of next week. Temperatures should continue to be in the upper 80s to low 90s for a while. Sure sounds like summer, eh?
