An active weather pattern is setting up for our area this weekend and early next week. Several upper air disturbances will direct storm complexes our way and each one of them will have the potential to produce some heavy rainfall. High temperatures will range from the 80s to mid 90s but it all depends on when we see the storms and how much cloud cover happens to linger. Our advice is to just keep the umbrella handy because you may need it.
Saturday: A storm complex may rumble into the area during the morning hours. It should weaken as it moves on through but a few additional afternoon showers and storms will be possible. High temperatures will range from the 80s to the mid 90s.
Sunday: Additional showers and storms are expected. Once again high temperatures will range from the 80s to the mid 90s.
Monday & Tuesday: Rain chances will remain elevated as disturbances move through the region. Upper 80s to low 90s remain a good bet for afternoon highs.
Wednesday & Thursday: Rain chances should lower just a bit but that means temperatures may climb back into the mid 90s during the afternoon hours.
