Light snow showers or flurries will be possible as we start the weekend but no major issues will come of it. Yes, a quick can’t be ruled out but that would be about it. The big story overall on Saturday will be the cold and blustery conditions. Afternoon highs will likely be only in the upper 30s and low 40s with wind chill values down into the 30s and upper 20s. Bundle up if you will be out and about.
Skies are expected to clear Saturday night and that will allow temperatures to plummet into the low to mid 20s. Thankfully skies will be much brighter on Sunday and temperatures will moderate back into the mid to upper 40s.
We won’t have a “case of the Monday’s” next week because temperatures will warm back up into the 60s. Thank goodness, right? Rain showers are likely Tuesday morning with our next cold front but it doesn’t look like that system will be anything like the ones we have been dealing with recently.
