Tonight: Clear conditions prevail as temperatures drop to the upper 50s for overnight lows.
Sunday: We will wake up clear, but clouds will thicken shortly after midday. Showers and a few thunderstorms are possible in late afternoon and evening hours in association with a cold front approaching the area. This system is weaker than last weekend’s, though, so we do not expect widespread downpours. High temperatures will hover the 80 degree mark, and overnight temperatures will be in the low 60s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy skies and a few isolated showers will linger for the start to the work week. Plan for high temperatures in the low 80s and conditions to start feeling warmer and more humid as the week progresses.
Tuesday – Wednesday: Temperatures and humidity will increase as we head towards hump day. Highs will be in the mid 80s which is warmer than average this time of year. Expect partly cloudy skies, but don’t leave the umbrella at home. With the influx of moisture to the region, there is a very slim chance for brief showers during the day.
Looking Ahead: The chance for showers will increase as we close out the week and another, stronger frontal system approaches the area. The models will focus, but it is looking like we could see heavy rain Friday night and into Saturday.
