West Point Man Charged in Starkville Armed Robbery

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) On Thursday May 15, 2014 at approximately 6:50pm the Starkville Police Department responded to Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, Mississippi in regards to a gunshot victim.

The victim had been stopped while in his vehicle at the intersection of Reed Road and Pecan Lane in Starkville, Mississippi and robbed of an undisclosed amount of money at gun point. He was subsequently shot during the robbery and was able to flee and seek medical attention at OCH.

After investigation into this incident, the Starkville Police Department arrested 26 year old Antwjuan Terry, residing at 326 W. Half Mile Street Apartment A8 in West Point, Mississippi for Aggravated Assault and Armed Robbery.

His bond is $25,000 for each offense. He will appear before Municipal Court Judge Rodney Faver for his initial appearance. Terry had been on parole with the Mississippi Department of Corrections and they have placed a hold on him.
