Wet & Cool Friday Coming

Clouds will thicken during the night but most areas will remain dry. Rain showers may develop by daybreak across the far western part of our area along I-55.  Overnight lows will be in the low 30s.

Friday will be cloudy, wet, and cool.  The chance of rain is about 90% so be sure to tote your umbrella as you head out the door.  High temperatures may struggle to get into the low 40s but we’re going to hope for the best.

The showers should move to our east after midnight Friday night but clouds may linger through much of Saturday morning.  We do expect mostly sunny skies by the afternoon along with a bit of a breeze from the NW.  Highs will be in the low 40s.

Sunny but cool weather hold firm for Sunday but we’re watching another system for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.  Our computer models have come more into agreement on this system so confidence is increasing that this period may become wet once again.
