The heaviest rain is moving away from the WCBI viewing area this evening and it looks like we’ll have a lull in the action for the next few hours. Another surge of moisture will come in from the south prior to daybreak and this will lead to additional rain and freezing rain concerns during the day Tuesday. If you experienced freezing rain on Monday then you will be vulnerable to it again on Tuesday. Moisture will linger Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and the threat of frozen precipitation will continue as long as temperatures flirt with the freezing mark. We should moderate back into the 40s by Wednesday afternoon.
