Woman Charged in Fatal ATV Crash

An Alabama woman was arrested after Monroe County deputies accused her of being drunk behind the wheel of an ATV when it crashed and killed a man.

Samantha Vizzina, 44, is charged with DUI-Manslaughter.

The crash happened Friday, December 6th at Weaver Creek, near the campground.

Christopher David Herrington,40, was trapped under the Polaris Razor in the creek.

Coroner Alan Gurley says he died as a result of drowning.

The Montgomery, Alabama woman’s bond was set at $10,000.

Gurley says Herrington, of Samson, Alabama, was in town working as a contractor. The crash was not work related.
