LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A New Hope woman admits to having sex with a teenager but avoids prison time.
Kimberly Michelle Smith, 25, was given a 20-year suspended sentence and must spend five years on probation after pleading guilty in Lowndes County Circuit Court. She also was fined $500.
She was arrested in May 2011 for incidents in November and December 2010 with a teen who was 14 at the time. She was 24.
Smith was a friend of the youth’s family. The victim’s family urged leniency for Smith.







She was to old for that young boy. They should have put her own house and be register in as a sex offendor
i think she should get the all of that 20 years and serve day for day , now she get 5 years thats bull and thats a slap on the dang hang all sex offender in to be locked up and the key thowen away thats if they are guilty
