Deadly crash claims two lives in Itawamba County

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Two people were found dead in a crashed truck in Itawamba County.

Sheriff Chris Dickinson said a passerby found the truck, upside down off of Walkers Bridge on Boat Ramp Road in the Ozark Community.

Dickson says Joseph Moore, 22, of Marietta and Sara Sides, 24, of Mooreville were the two victims found inside the truck.

At this time, it’s unclear what caused the truck to run off of the road.

Investigators believe the crash happened sometime after midnight.

The truck was found around 8:30 a.m. Monday.

The crash is still under investigation
