Traffic Accident Claims the Life of a Tupelo Man

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -One man is dead after a late Monday morning wreck in Tupelo.

Around 11:00 AM a Ford Ranger pick-up and a Volvo tanker carrying oil collided on Eason Boulevard just east of the Briar Ridge Road intersection.

The driver of the pick-up, 76 year old George Wilson of Tupelo, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tanker was not injured..

The accident is still under investigation.
