At 630 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of Underwood-Petersville, or 10 miles west of Florence,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40-50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Killen, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport, Muscle Shoals,
Underwood-Petersville, St. Florian, Florence, Sheffield, Oakland, and
Tuscumbia.
