September Heat Sticks Around

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Hot conditions stick around throughout the week, with the 100s returning once again late-week.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Calm conditions continue overnight, with temperatures dropping into the low-70s. Winds will be out of the SE around 5 mph, making for a pleasant evening.

WEDNESDAY: We’ll be toasty once again tomorrow, with afternoon highs in the upper-90s. A heat advisory is in effect for most of the area as heat index values will be in the triple digits for several hours tomorrow. Otherwise, expect mostly sunny conditions throughout the day.

THURSDAY: Repeat of Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper-90s with even higher feels like temperatures. Mostly sunny conditions will persist through Thursday.
