My love of weather started with a fear of thunder I had as a kid. As I got older, that fear turned into fascination and curiosity about the weather. I knew I wanted to be a meteorologist since I was 8 years old, and I have been pursuing it ever since.
I am originally from the Atlanta area, and I came to Mississippi State to get my degree in professional meteorology. Once at MSU, I realized how great our broadcast meteorology program was, and decided to give it a try. I realized that I have a passion for communicating weather to the public.
I am currently in my last year at Mississippi state and plan to graduate in December with a Bachelor’s degree in professional and broadcast meteorology. I am also an intern for memphisweather.net, and I volunteer at the NWS office in Louisville, Kentucky.
An avid outdoorsman, in my free time you can find me outside, by a lake or pool, or out storm chasing!
I am very excited to be able to forecast for my second home in Northeast Mississippi!
