Kealy Shields
Anchor/Producer
Kealy Shields believes there’s no place like home. A Monroe County native and graduate of Hamilton High School, she earned a degree in Communication with a minor in Marketing from Mississippi University for Women.
Kealy’s passion for journalism and broadcasting blossomed while attending Itawamba Community College, where she became involved with the LIN Report and helped manage social media. This early experience laid the foundation for her broadcasting career. She started as an intern at WCBI, where she joined the news team after graduating from MUW. Kealy found her calling in storytelling, especially within her community, working alongside the same people she grew up watching. Starting as a reporter, she became the morning anchor and producer for WCBI News on Fox4.
Outside the newsroom, Kealy is an active member of her community. She volunteers with a local non-profit organization and serves as the Multimedia Chair. In her free time, she enjoys hunting with her husband, cooking for her family, and discovering hidden treasures at consignment shops.
