Iso. Storms Monday; Cooler Temperatures On The Way!

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI)- After a very hot weekend,  the heat will look to stay Monday with isolated storms, but then introducing some cooler temperatures towards the end of the work week! 

TONIGHT: Cloud coverage will continue to build into the area overnight. Lows dropping down into the low 70s. 

TOMORROW: Another extremely hot day as highs are expected to remain in the upper 90s. Isolated storm coverage will take place heading into the mid afternoon-evening hours. A few of those storms can be strong as a level (1/5) Marginal Risk is in place for damaging winds.

RELIEF FROM THE HEAT: After a cold front passage on Tuesday afternoon, cooler and drier air will filter in allowing temperatures to drop down into the long awaited upper 80s for afternoon highs starting on Thursday!
