Lafayette baseball loses to Vancleave in 5A state championship
Lafayette baseball fell 6-1 to Vancleave in game three of the 5A state championship series Saturday at Trustmark Park.
The Bulldogs jumped ahead early, taking a 3-0 lead in the third. The Commodores’ lone run came from Balin Bishop who scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the fourth.
