Lafayette volleyball wins 5A state championship, sweeps East Central

Lafayette volleyball defeated East Central in the 5A state championship 3-0 on Friday. Commodore senior Harmony Jackson was named the MVP following the match.

“This is why we’re here,” Jackson said. “We did all of that to be in state and that’s what we did. We made it here and decided to win it.”
