Lee County Sheriff’s Office trying to determine if girl is safe

LEE COUNTY S.O.: 662-432-2622LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a girl, so they can find out if she is safe.
Around 12:02 AM Sunday, the young female was knocking on the door of a home in the Auburn community of Lee County.
A doorbell camera caught these images of her. She appears to be in her teens, wearing glasses, and at the time was wearing a Cornerstone Cottage School t-shirt. That’s a hybrid home-school program in Tupelo.
By the time the homeowner got to the door, she was gone.
Deputies went to the area and attempted to locate her, but were unsuccessful.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to identify the girl and ensure that she is safe and does not need assistance.
