Summer is Losing its Grip

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – After several weeks of above average temperatures, we are getting closer to seeing near-normal temperatures. Highs will be in the upper-80’s by the end of the week.

TUESDAY EVENING: A few isolated showers and storms will continue into the evening hours, but we’ll be dry by the overnight hours. It’ll be a comfortable evening, with temperatures dropping into the low-70’s overnight.

WEDNESDAY: Another hot day, but not *as* hot. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s with sunny conditions throughout the day. A stray shower is possible in the afternoon, but most will stay dry.

THURSDAY: Say hello to the 80s! High temperatures will be in the upper-80s across the area, making for much more comfortable conditions. It’ll be another dry and sunny day with minimal cloud cover.
