Tupelo linebacker Tristan Jernigan signs with Texas A&M

Four-star Tupelo linebacker Tristan Jernigan originally committed to Texas A&M, but reopened his recruitment after the coaching change. He still chose the Aggies on Friday despite being recruited personally by Nick Saban, signing his national letter of intent with Texas A&M.

Why? He trusted in new head coach Mike Elko.

“He’s a great coach,” Jernigan said. “I know he’s going to do great wherever he goes. I appreciate him for coming to my house and everything.”
