OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – 4County is alerting customers to be aware of an ongoing scam.
The notice states that someone is going door to door in Oktibbeha County claiming to be from the “electric fiber” company, signing people up for services.
4County says in the release that it’s not them and they are not going door to door.
They’re also not asking for deposits to get fiber service.
4County states that if anyone is coming to your home or business claiming to be from 4County its not them.
It also says that their employees and contractors have visible 4County logos and have their company ID.
If this has happened to you or someone you know, you should contact 4County.
And never give information out to anyone who shows up at your door.
