5 local coffee shops battle for best brew to fundraise for Le Bonheur
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Have a cup of coffee. Help a good cause.
Five coffee shops in Starkville have had a friendly competition going on in December to raise money for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
Throughout the month, customers have sampled specially crafted drinks at Arepas, Strange Brew, Coffee Depot, 929, and Umble and voted for their favorite.
The shop with the most votes will earn the title of the “Official Holiday Drink of Starkville.”
All proceeds from the competition will go to Le Bonheur.
Participants received a complimentary mug when ordering their specialty coffee.
