Grass fire damages structure in Oktibbeha County
OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A grass fire quickly spreads in Oktibbeha County, causing significant damage to a structure.
The blaze happened Monday afternoon at 680 Shaw Road.
Oktibbeha County Fire Coordinator Patrick Warner tells WCBI the fire started by burning leaves.
The fire then spread. One structure was lost, but Sturgis and Central Oktibbeha Volunteer Fire departments saved three other structures and a house.
No injuries were reported.
