Okolona woman dies from her injuries after a dog attack
OKOLONA, Miss. (WCBI) – A woman injured in a dog attack in Okolona has died.
According to Chickasaw County Coroner Larry D. Harris, Seventy-five-year-old Cereise Watson of Okolona died Sunday at Regional One Trauma Center in Memphis.
Watson was attacked by two dogs back on February 7 near the intersection of West Main and Triplett Street in Okolona.
Her body will be sent to Pearl for an autopsy.
Okolona Police have arrested and charged Anthony Smith with aggravated assault on a vulnerable adult.
Those charges could be upgraded.
