Community members host Columbus movie night

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus organizations joined forces to host a Community Movie Night this weekend.

The event was held at the Riverwalk on Friday, March 20.

Free food, music, and a bouncy house were also available for families.

Event organizers and Columbus residents, Darnell Madison and Tae Harris, said they expected around 100 people to attend.

Darnell Madison is also a local law enforcement officer.

He said hopes to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community with events like this.

The “I Am Mentoring Program” and “Tae Presents” were the hosts of the movie night.
