Multiple firefighters respond to a woods fire in Alcorn Co.
BIGERSVILLE/ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A woods fire in Alcorn County calls for backup from multiple departments.
On Thursday, March 19, firefighters were dispatched to County Road 450.
When firefighters arrived, they became aware that nearby structures were threatened.
Suppression operations began, and the fire was eventually contained, preventing further spread.
Biggersville, Glenn, Jacinto, Reinzi, and Southwest Fire departments responded to the blaze.
