Monroe Co. brush and woods fire leaves 15 acres damaged
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A fire damaged 15 acres in Monroe County.
Around 6 this morning, firefighters were dispatched to a brush and woods fire on Fields Drive.
Hamilton, Rural Hill, and Bartahatchie Fire departments responded.
Additional help was requested from Lowndes County.
The fire was eventually contained.
Monroe County Fire Services reports no injuries.
