Heating Up This Week!

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI)- Scattered storms return tomorrow. Low 90s will become the new normal for temperatures this week!

TONIGHT: A stray shower is possible, but most of the rain has passed. Clouds will stay with lows only dropping into the low 70s.

MONDAY: Scattered thunderstorms will be possible heading into the afternoon. Mostly cloudy conditions will remain with highs reaching into the mid to upper 80s once again.

HERE COMES THE SUMMER HEAT: Starting on Tuesday and through this weekend expect our first hot stretch of 2026 with high temperatures staying in the low 90s, with mid 90s possible by this weekend! With humidity in place in the low 70s,  feels like temperatures will reach near triple digits! Make sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks indoors this week!
