Tallahatchie Riverfest warns event goers about ticket and vendor scams
TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A long-running festival in New Albany recently opened vendor applications, and scammers are already looking to take advantage of people.
According to the Tallahatchie Riverfest information site, individuals are posing as ticket sellers and vendor space renters.
Riverfest is a free event and will never ask for money or sell tickets.
Information regarding vendors will not be posted on personal social media profiles.
