Utility worker became trapped in a trench in Oxford
OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – A utility worker in Oxford found himself in an unlikely situation after he became trapped in a trench.
According to WJTV News, the man was pinned by dirt.
The Oxford Fire Department responded to the work area on Anderson Road.
Rescue operations took about 40 minutes before the man was free.
The utility worker was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment.
