Strong Iso. Storms North For This Evening
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI)- Some stronger storms are possible for areas to the north this evening. Otherwise dealing with the heat, but hope is in sight for temperature relief.
TONIGHT: A Marginal Risk (1/5) is in place due to damaging winds for areas north of Hwy 82 as storms form along a slow moving front. Storms should dwindle down after sunset and end prior to 11pm. Otherwise partly cloudy conditions, lows dropping down to the mid 70s.
TOMORROW: Another hot day as highs reach near 100 once again. Isolated showers and storms are possible during the afternoon.
TEMPERATURE RELIEF ON THE WAY: Heading into Thursday and Friday another cold front will usher in better rain chances. This will lead to more managable heat for this weekend as highs drop down into the mid 90s with the bonus of less muggy conditions as well!
