Labor Day Forecast: Hot But Dry!
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI)- Conditions are calming down heading into the overnight period, leaving conditions calmer just in time for Labor Day.
TONIGHT: After an active Sunday afternoon with scattered thunderstorms conditions are clearing up quickly and will continue to do so overnight as lows drop down a few degrees than the past couple of nights down to the low 70s.
LABOR DAY: Although conditions will remain hot with highs reaching the upper 90s, expect dry conditions to take place with mostly sunny skies. An added bonus is that drier air will filter in from the north, knocking dew points down from the mid 70s to the mid to upper 60s!
NEXT RAIN MAKER: The next best chance to see more scattered storm activity will take place Thursday and Friday as a slow moving front moves into the area.
